Fall Skincare Picks

With cooler temperatures setting in, it’s time to swap out your summer skin care routine with the best products for fall. From our favorite face cream to a revolutionary exfoliator, we’ve rounded up our favorite skin care products for fall.

Fresh Soy FaceCleanser—This sweet cucumber scent is a gentle face cleanser that removes makeup without the harsh irritants of a regular cleanser. Use this daily and your skin will look clean and fresh!

Facial-Flex AdvancedRenewal Complex—This moisturizing cream is specifically formulated to support and accelerate the anti-aging results of our Facial-Flex face-tightening exercises. We love it because it visibly improves face toning, moisture and firmness.

Yes to BlueberriesSoftening Facial Exfoliator—Use this exfoliator once or twice a week to keep skin feeling smooth and looking bright. It’s rich with antioxidants to help fight the formation of free radicals that can damage the skin’s microstructure.

Kinerase Advanced EyeCream—Eye cream is essential to younger looking eyes. We like this advanced eye cream that’s formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet. It’s gentle on all skin types.

Clarins SuperRestorative Replenishing Comfort Mask—Treat yourself to a lux facial mask that will leave your skin looking radiant and glowing.

3 Steps to Managing Brows

It’s no secret: bold brows are huge for fall! Brows are a game changer and it’s important to give them some extra attention. Don’t know where to start? We’ve got you covered. Today, we break down how to assess your brows, manage and maintain them.

Step 1: Figure out your brow shape. There are multiple brow shapes and in order to better groom and maintain those gorgeous brows, you need to know what type you have. Use this chart below to figure out if you have round, angled or flat brows (or something else!).

Step 2: Decide what brow maintenance method works for you. Between waxing, threading and tweezing, there are multiple ways you can get your brows under control. Waxing is easy and long-lasting though to some it can be very painful. Threading is more precise (and perhaps a better option) because it’s also long-lasting but it could cost you more money. Tweezing is inexpensive and painless but we recommend you invest in a good set of tweezers.

Step 3: Find your natural arch. This diagram breaks down your brow so you can understand where your natural arch is.  B corresponds to where your natural arch is, while A and C refer to where your eyebrow should begin and end. Following this diagram is essential for well-maintained and natural brows.

Metallic rimmed eyes and braids at Ann Yee.

Hair was loose and wavy on the runway at Richard Chai.

Sweet and simple braids were popular backstage at Costello Tagliapietra.

Bright lips and loose curls made waves at Creatures of the Wind.

Pretty hair jewelry was popular backstage a couple of shows. We love these little flower pieces and side ponies backstage at Honor. We also saw pretty gold leafs on top of messy buns at Lela Rose.
