Holiday decorating, late night baking and gift wrapping
sessions have probably taken a toll on your sleep schedule. Don’t worry, we’ve
all been there. We have the dark circles and dry skin to prove it. That’s why
we’ve rounded up our best makeup tips and tricks that will tide you over until
the holiday season is over.
First and foremost, make sure you are removing all makeup
before bed.
At night, manually exfoliate with a light cleansing scrub or
hand-held electric buffer and follow with your favorite moisturizer.
Keep your eye cream in the refrigerator for an extra chill
the night before so you can apply it when you wake up. This will instantly relieve
any puffiness.
If dark circles are a frequent problem, dab some concealer
on the inner part of the eye socket, next to the nose.
Apply a pop of cream or white shimmer shadow in the very
inner corner of eyes and at the brow bone.
For a fresher, more awake look, apply mascara just to the
top lashes.
