First, stop multi-tasking. Focusing on too many things at once
will make you feel frenzied. We suggest working on one thing at a time—whether
it’s mixing a batch of cookie dough or decorating the tree, fully immerse in
one activity. It will help you recharge for the next task at hand.
Listen to music. Sounds easy right? Listening to music can
crank down stress hormones, lower blood pressure and heart rate.
Plan ahead. Try and prioritize your time by scheduling what
to do what and when. We suggest blocking off time for holiday gift shopping,
baking, cooking, cleaning, etc.
Find inner peace. OK, that may sound hard to do but here’s a
trick: decide on a word that describes the holiday season you want to have this
year (peace, love, joy are all good and easy examples). Write it on an index
card and tape it to your bathroom mirror. When things get hectic, glance at
that word to remind you want to you really want.
Take a break. Don’t sweat the small stuff. In fact, we
suggest incorporating a little Facial-Flex time in to your schedule (because we
promise, it will relax you and keep you energized). For just two minutes, twice
a day, use the Facial-Flex Ultra to
flex your face, chin and neck muscles. No worry lines for you this season!
